The easiest plants to take care of

If you are looking for an easy to care for plant with a pop of color, the peace lily is a great choice.  The flowers can be white, purple, or pink and they don’t need to be watered very often and do well in low light.

An aloe plant is another option as it requires very little watering. Its leaves are also useful for healing burns and cuts.

Pathos, also known as “devil’s ivy” is the quintessential office plant because it is so low maintenance, is easily propogated, purifies the air, and depending on how much light it gets, and has beautiful verigations depending on how much light it gets. If it has low light, it will revert to pure green leaves.

Best air purifying plants

English ivy  does need more sun than other plants, but if you have a window, it might be a good choice. It removes toxins from the air and can be trained into shapes. It also will live for a few years.

If you are interested in a plant that has some height to it, a ficus plant end up being between two and ten feet tall. This plant needs to be near a window that gets some sun, and does not require a lot of maintenance. It also has some amazing air cleaning abilities.

Another plant that can be quite tall and grows quickly is bamboo. Be careful though, keep this plant inside because when planted outside, bamboo can quickly grow out of control and take over a yard. The sprouts can grow a foot in a day when they are planted outside.
